About Me

Zaid Safdar Sandhu is a visual poet shaped by light, motion, and emotion. Holding a Master’s degree in Multimedia and Digital Arts (Filmmaking), his work lives at the intersection of imagery and storytelling.

His journey began in 2009 with nothing more than a mobile phone and a curious eye. What started as an instinct to capture moments slowly transformed into a deep fascination with photography, and ultimately evolved into cinematography and filmmaking—where still frames learned to breathe.

With over a decade of experience, Zaid’s artistic voice found recognition through the award-winning film Chan Mere Makhna, a project he both directed and cinematographed. The film earned 21 international awards and was listed among Asia’s Top 75 Films at IFFSA Canada.

Beyond independent cinema, Zaid has crafted visuals for multinational brands through television commercials in Pakistan and Dubai. His creative footprint spans TV series, web series, music videos, and documentaries—each guided by mood, rhythm, and narrative depth.
